      The Work-Based Learning Program in Emanuel County highlights Durden Banking Company, Swainsboro and Twin City, and Zaxby's of Metter. Durden Banking Company is a long-time partner and friend of the work-based learning programs in Emanuel County and is employing three students this year.

ECI participates in mock journey
      As a part of their study of Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, Emanuel County Institute seniors recently participated in a mock pilgrimage to the great cathedral, site of the murder of St. Thomas a'Beckett. As in the poem, pilgrims gathered at the Tabard Inn before the journey.
