Hattie Mae Mincey, 72 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Hattie Mae Mincey, 72, was held Sept. 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. She died Sept. 22, 2007. Mrs. Mincey was a native of Jenkins County and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Swainsboro. Survivors include four daughters, Queenie Mincey and Daisy Phillip of Twin City; Gloria Doyle of Swainsboro; and Ella Jane Butler of Macon; two sons, Carl Mincey of Alabama; and Archie Joe Mincey of Twin City; a sister, Frances Byrd of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Joe Mack of Alexandria, Va.; and Noel Mack of Twin City; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Whitaker Funeral Home of Metter had charge of arrangements.
