Bomb threat

Swainsboro police officers, Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies and Swainsboro Fire Department personnel were called to the scene at Subway Restaurant at Super Wal- Mart in Swainsboro on Saturday, Oct. 6 at around 12:14 p.m. to a call about a bomb threat. Upon arrival, officers blocked off entrances and evacuated buildings surrounding both locations. Nothing was found after a search. Employees were allowed back into the stores after the search was conducted. Pictured are numerous Wal-Mart employees in the parking lot.
