Support the Arts!

We hope all of our readers will turn out this Saturday at 10 a.m. in downtown Swainsboro for the third annual Arts Emanuel Festival! There will be numerous art activities for children and adults to enjoy. Sponsored by Emanuel County Artists' Guild, this event promises to be fun and educational for everyone.

Also, entertainment will begin at The Boneyard at 4 p.m. Musical acts are brought to you in part by the Downtown Commission for Arts and Commerce (DCAC). The DCAC is a group of organizations that support culture and commerce for downtown Swainsboro through concerts, dance, and theatre performances. The DCAC includes Daniel's Chevrolet, The Forest-Blade, Gallery RFD, Emanuel Arts Council, the GREDC at EGC, The Chamber of Commerce, Nordson Corps, Mill Creek, and Radio Jones.
