Police Report

Swainsboro police officers reported the following cases:

Sept. 18

An Adrian woman reported she parked her vehicle at a business to get repaired and while it was there, it was struck by an unknown vehicle, damaging the right front bumper, right front fender, and right front headlight.

Sept. 24

The City of Swainsboro reported that two women, who were identified, made false police reports in regards to an incident involving one of the women's husbands having an affair with the other.

A Gumlog St. woman reported her boyfriend stole $120 from under her pillow.

Sept. 25

A woman parked on N. Green St. reported someone broke the rear window of her vehicle while she was at work.

A Lewis St. man reported someone stole his golf equipment out of his utility shed.

A Stevens Dr. woman reported that someone flattened two of the tires on her vehicle.

A West St. woman reported that the tires to her vehicle were flat. She had gotten into an argument with a man the previous day that resulted in him losing his job. The man threatened her before she left and she suspects he may have damaged her tires.

Sept. 26

A Lucky St. woman reported someone tore her screen door and tried to unlock the dead bolt on her wooden door but no entry was gained.

A Lucky St. man reported someone kicked in his door and stole his Playstation II.

A Rowan Johnson Rd. juvenile reported she lost her cell phone.

A Stevens Dr. woman reported two of the tires on her vehicle were flattened.

Sept. 27

A woman driving on the Hwy. 1 Bypass reported hitting a deer.

A woman parked in the Harvey's parking lot reported when she came out to her vehicle it began to smoke under the hood and shortly thereafter, caught on fire.

Sept. 28

An E. Pine St. woman reported someone entered her vehicle and stole her purse.

Employee at Quick Stop reported someone had broken into the store. Nothing seemed to be taken.

A McLeod Dr. woman reported her neighbor's cat bit her on her leg.

Manager at Harvey's Supermarket reported a man, who was identified, stole four steaks and an 8- pack of batteries.

AWest St. man reported a man, who was identified, refused to pay him for work done on his car.

A woman driving on Modoc Rd. reported she hit a dog.

A man driving on N. Main St. reported a woman, who was identified, was harassing him.

A woman at Family Dollar reported someone stole her bag.

A Ben St. woman reported someone damaged her car.

A S. Central St. man reported someone stole his tow dolly.

A member of Lester Grove Baptist Church reported someone broke into the building.

Sept. 29

A woman at Jordan Estates reported a man, who was identified, stole $200 and damaged her door frame.

A Jerome St. woman reported someone stole her son's bicycle.

An Abundance St. woman reported someone stole her son's bicycle.

A woman driving on Hwy. 80 E. reported hitting a deer.

A woman whose car was parked on Hopkins and New streets reported someone entered her car and stole her handgun.

A Lee St. woman reported the father of her child is threatening her.

AS. Main St. woman reported a woman, who was identified, threatened her.

Sept. 30

A W. MLK Blvd. woman reported someone damaged her window screen.

A woman whose car was parked on Gumlog Rd. reported someone stole three tires, the CD player and broke a window.

A woman at New Swainsboro Inn reported her juvenile daughter did not come home.

Employee at Huddle House reported unknown subjects did not pay for their food.

A woman at Swainsboro High School reported someone broke into her car at stole several items.

Oct. 1

Employee at Emanuel Peanut & Grain reported a man, who was identified, has been stealing peanuts for three years. However, offender stated he had been stealing peanuts for only two years.
