Scammers! Beware of scammers on the telephone posing as employees of Visa or Mastercard. These criminals already have your credit card information but are looking to get the last detail--your three-digit PIN code located on the back of your card. Do NOT give these criminals that number! Call your credit card company to verify that they have or have not called you. Employees of these credit card companies will never ask for your PIN numbers because they already know the numbers. If you get a call from one of these scammers, report it to the local authorities.
