Elizabeth L. Douglas, 77 ADRIAN--Funeral for Elizabeth L. Douglas 77, was held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Peebles-Curry- Durden Mortuary with Rev. Arthur Conley and Allen Green officiating. She died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at her residence after a brief illness. Mrs. Douglas was a native of Treutlen County. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Meeks. Survivors include her sons, Roger Douglas of Swainsboro, and Larry Douglas of Adrian; three sisters, Martha Love and Ronella Boyett of Soperton; and Evadell Wilkes of Vidalia; a brother, Joe Poole of Vidalia; six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were Shon Douglas, Mikey Douglas, Anthony Douglas and Eric Douglas Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
