Sheriff's Report

Emanuel County Sheriff's log:

Aug. 20

An Emanuel County Schools bus driver reported a man, who was identified, was driving recklessly as she was trying to drop children off.

Aug. 24

A Lucky St. woman reported getting into an argument with a man, who was identified, the man threatened to throw her phone into a pond. The offender did not follow through with his threats but instead hid the phone and refused to reveal its location.

Aug. 25

A Kemp Rd. woman reported a man, who was identified, was heavily intoxicated and slapped her in the face during an argument.

A construction worker working at Gethsamene Church reported several items were stolen from the site.

A Lawrence Sherrod Rd. man reported he lost his wallet in the Harvey's parking lot.

A woman driving on Hwy. 1 south reported hitting a deer.

A woman traveling on Hwy. 1 south behind a dump truck hauling gravel reported a piece of gravel flew off the truck and struck her windshield.

Aug. 26

An Industrial Training Inc. employee reported someone broke into the building and stole several computers and a digital camera along with various other items.

A Williamson St. man reported someone cut his fence and stole his cast iron boiler.

Aug. 27

A woman driving on Hwy. 56 north reported hitting a dog.

A Summertown Main St. woman reported she is having problems with Pit Bulldogs chasing her children.

Aug. 28

A Falcon Trl. woman reported someone keeps calling and harassing her.

A Hwy. 56 north woman reported that her daughter left home at the end of the school year and has still not returned. Mother is concerned about her daughter's safety.

A Prosperity Dr. woman reported her sister opened up a bank account in her name without her permission and has run up the balance.

A woman driving on Prince Williams Rd. reported hitting a deer.

An Ed's Truck Stop employee reported a man, who was identified, was illegally fishing in the pond behind the truck stop. Arrested was, Fidel Rodriguez, 168 Lindsey Rd., for no fishing license.

ALegion Dr. woman reported her ex-husband had yet to return their son from visitation.
