Pittman Scott appointed to board
      Swainsboro native Ashley Pittman Scott has been nominated and appointed to a three-year term on the Terry College of Business Alumni board of directors for University of Georgia. She is an alumni of UGA Terry College of Business where she graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in accounting in 1993.

Memory bench donated to EMC
      A bench was recently donated in memory of W. Garnett and Reba Grace Stephens by their children and grandchildren. The memory bench is located by the front entrance of Emanuel Medical Center and has a brass plaque incorporated in the back with special engraving.
