Leon 'Buddy' Hooks, 53 TWIN CITY--Memorial service for Leon "Buddy" Hooks, 53, was held Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Rev. Harvard Hudson officiating. He died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Mr. Hooks was a native of Emanuel County, was self-employed as a construction worker and had worked for Cagle & Cagle. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Leslie Hooks; a son, Buddy Allan Hooks; two stepsons, Nathan Roberson and Lloyd Slater II; two stepdaughters, Angela Hayes and Tina Nunn; a brother, Felton Hooks; two sisters, Jean Amerson and Sue Rigdon; and two granddaughters, Allana and Chloe Hooks. Tomlinson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
