Story tellers
 | | Students at Swainsboro Elementary School got a specail treat as they kicked off their reading program. Authors Dave and Pat Sargent visited the school and spoke in an assembly to all of the students. Native of Arkansas, Dave Sargent enticed the kids with a fiction story about bats and skunks. Later in the presentation, his wife Pat held the audience captive while explaining in storyteller fashion about her coonhunting experiences in Oklahoma as a child. The authors then stayed in the Media Center selling and autographing books. Pictured are Jake Daniels, Sehar Jamal, Jasmine Williams, Cason Rogers and authors Pat and Dave Sargent. |
