Aribbon cutting for the new Days Inn & Suites in Swainsboro was held Wednesday, Aug. 22. Owner Neil Shah (with scissors) and family were present for the ceremonies. Also present were Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce Director Bill Rogers Jr.; Group Director of Business Development David Greenwood of Days Inn Worldwide, Inc.; Mayor Charles Schwabe; Joint Development Authorities Director Andy Riley; and members of the community.
