Police Report Swainsboro police officers reported the following cases: Aug. 10 A Howard St. man reported a man, who was identified, damaged the door to his shed. A Washington St. woman reported a man, who was not identified, stopped her as she was walking down the street with her three small children and threatened to cause bodily harm. A New Swainsboro Inn employee reported a man, who was identified, kept staying at the hotel without paying and the employee wanted the offender not to return to the property. A Norwood Ave. woman reported a man, who was identified, wanted her to leave Carl's Used Cars and when she refused, he punched her in the face. A woman driving on Calhoun St. reported a large pot hole caused damage to the front end of her vehicle. Aug. 11 An Allen Dr. man reported a woman, who was identified, took a futon and riding lawn mower from his residence without permission. A Swainsboro woman reported her mother came to her residence and threw a pair of shoes in her face. Her mother also began to punch her in the face. The offender had been warned earlier not to go to her daughter's residence. A S. Racetrack St. woman reported a woman, who was identified, flattened the tires on her vehicle. A Mallory's Way, Savannah, woman reported a railroad crossing arm damaged the roof of her vehicle. A King Circle Dr. man reported hitting the pole in front of the gas tanks at Petro. His vehicle was damaged on the passenger side. A W. Main St. man reported someone entered his vehicle and stole his cell phone. Officers reported a road check on S. Coleman St. resulted in six citations. Aug. 12 Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in response to a motorcycle accident. A motorcycle had lost control but no one was injured. A McLeod Bridge Rd. woman reported her boyfriend dragged her outside and beat her up. A Maryland man reported a man, who was not identified, keeps calling and harassing his juvenile daughter. A Friendly Way woman reported a woman, who was identified, kicked her juvenile daughter in the leg and hit her other juvenile daughter in the arm. ACenter Rd. woman reported someone stole her son's bicycle. A N. Racetrack St. woman reported a woman, who was identified, called her and threatened to beat her up. A Swainsboro woman reported someone threw a rock through the driver's side window of her vehicle. Aug. 13 A Brantley's Billiards employee reported someone broke into the building and damaged the safe, cash registers, game machines, and juke box. Officers were dispatched to Rentz St. because a young child was found abandoned. A C.A. Henry Locksmith employee reported someone broke into his company van and stole several tools. Aug. 14 An E. Third Ave., Stillmore, woman reported after colliding with another car in the KFC parking lot, the driver of the other car cursed at her and threatened to beat up her husband. A Herrington Ave. woman reported someone entered her residence and stole her Ipod, speakers, and several Vicodin. AW. Church St. couple reported someone entered their home but nothing appeared to be taken. A Dollar General employee reported witnessing a man, who was not identified, conceal some clothing under his shirt and leave the store without paying for the merchandise. Aug. 15 A Griffin Ferry Rd., Lyons, man reported while he was working at the Coleman House, the driver's side window to his vehicle was busted. An abandoned vehicle was found on McLeod Bridge Rd. The vehicle had been involved in a chase with an officer until the driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. A Hwy. 23 south, Twin City, man reported three disgruntled ex-employees approached him and his family at Wal-Mart and threatened them. This led to an argument where his wife's brother got into an altercation with the three offenders and his shirt was ripped off. The offenders fled before officers arrived. A North St. woman reported someone broke a window in her previous residence and stole her refrigerator. A Greengrove Dr. woman reported she gave a man, who was identified, $40 dollars for insurance and the offender cancelled the insurance instead. The offender refuses to refund the money. A Lindsey Rd. man reported that his stepdaughter and her husband threatened to beat him up because he will not refund the $40 they gave him to pay insurance. Aug. 16 A C.A. Henry's Locksmith employee reported seeing two unknown males looking through vehicles at S&N Auto. When the suspects began to look in the company's work van, the employee confronted the offenders but the offenders fled. A Ricksville Rd., Adrian, woman reported someone made an unauthorized charge on her debit card to Verizon Wireless. A Center St. woman reported her husband grabbed her by the throat and threw her into their residence. An Old Nunez Rd. man reported someone stole 3 fishing poles from his residence. An Industrial Way woman reported her vehicle was stolen from the Omega Club. A N. Main St. man reported a man, who was identified, was at his residence playing video games without his permission. He later discovered his Playstation 2 and one game were missing. Aug. 17 A Savannah Morning News employee reported his newspaper machine was stolen from Thompson's Minit Mart. An Old Nunez Rd. woman reported getting into domestic dispute with a man, who was identified, over his keeping their baby longer than he was allowed. AMcLendon St. man reported someone stole his AC unit and an 50 ft extender cord. A Diamond Propane employee reported someone entered a company vehicle and stole the CB radio. A woman that parked her vehicle in the Wal- Mart parking lot reported someone cut her right front tire. A woman driving through the drive-thru at McDonald's reported the sign fell down on her vehicle causing damage to the left side driver door and passenger door. A woman that parked her vehicle in the Fred's parking lot reported someone busted the two back windows out of her vehicle and stole two purses. Aug. 18 A Dairy Queen employee reported a woman, who was identified, kept calling and harassing one of the employees. An Oak St. man reported four unknown males beat him up and stole $90 dollars from him while he was walking home. An Easy Stop employee reported witnessing a man, who was identified, attempt to steal a bottle of beer. A McLeod Bridge Rd. woman reported her exhusband came to her apartment and started hitting her in the face and chest. A New Pages of Life Ministries employee reported someone kicked in the back door to the building. Drawers and cabinets were rummaged through but nothing appeared to be taken. Aug. 19 A Gumlog Rd. woman reported someone entered her vehicle and stole 10-12 CD's. A Williams Rountree Rd. woman reported someone took her vehicle from where it was parked at Daniel's Chevrolet. An Enmark employee reported a man, who was not identified, pumped $34.91 dollars in gasoline without paying. A woman using the ATM machine at BB&T reported the machine took her card and would not dispense her money. A Market St. woman reported three males, who were identified, entered an apartment she was asked to keep an eye on.
