Annie C. Dryden, 85 Mrs. Dryden, formerly of Galax, Va., had lived here for only six weeks. She owned and operated a flower shop and nursery in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Galax, Va. Survivors include her husband, James D. Dryden of Swainsboro; three sons, Elmer Smith of Beechgrove, Tenn.; Roger Smith and Ronnie Smith of West Palm Beach, Fla.; daughter, Frances Richardson of Lake Worth, Fla.; brother and sister, Homer Creed and Betty Galyean of Galax, Va. Tomlinson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
