Police Report Swainsboro police officers reported the following cases: July 30 A Hwy 152 woman reported she was bitten on the leg by a German Sheppard. She later admitted to provoking the dog. A Lexsy Nunez Rd. man reported a woman, who was identified, entered his vehicle while it was parked at the Time Saver on N. Main St. and took the keys. The offender refused to give them back and drove off. A Popular St. man reported someone entered his residence and stole his television set. An Advance St. woman reported she keeps receiving harassing phone calls. July 31 ABlanchard Equipment employee reported someone took the lock off the fence on the north side of the building and stole one of their vehicles. July 31 A Cowford Bridge Rd. man reported someone entered his vehicle that was parked at Blanchard Equipment and stole a handgun, rifle, and a speaker box. A Braswell Blvd. woman reported a man, who was identified, took her cell phone. He had been told never to return to her residence. Officers later found the offender but he did not have the cell phone. He had thrown it but the phone was recovered. The offender was advised not to return to the residence. Aug. 2 A KT's Place employee reported someone pumped $2 in gasoline and did not pay. The offender was later located by an officer and returned to pay. Aug. 3 A King Circle Dr. woman reported someone stole a bike from her property. A Hwy 80 E., Twin City, man reported receiving stolen property. An E. Pine St. woman reported a man, who was identified, tried to cash her rent check at Spivey Bank. A Hall St., Garfield, woman reported receiving harassing phone calls. A Swainsboro Concrete employee reported someone entered his vehicle, causing damage to the ignition switch. His radio was also stolen. AW. Moring St. woman reported her purse was missing from her vehicle. She was later notified a man, who was identified, had cashed one of her checks at Citizen's Bank. The offender paid Citizen's Bank back for the amount that was cashed. A Hwy 80 E. man reported his tag decal is missing from his vehicle. Aug. 4 A Maple St., Wadley, woman reported she left her cell phone at Shoe Show. A Shoe Show employee stated that a woman, who was identified, said the phone was hers and left with it before the real owner had returned to claim it. A Northside Barbeque employee reported someone entered the building by removing some boards and stole barbeque sauce, flour, and sugar. A Harvey's Supermarket employee reported three unknown males attempted to cash counterfeit checks. Officers were dispatched to an alarm call at Vista Window Company. A window on the east side of the building had been broken with a rock but nothing appeared to be taken. A Watkin's BP employee reported a Dodge Ram was taken from the business. A N. Racetrack St. juvenile reported her mother was trying to force her to leave her grandmother's house and she did not want to return home with her mother. Juvenile was advised she had to go with her mother until DFCS decided otherwise. Aug. 5 A Ralph St. woman reported someone hit her vehicle while it was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot, causing damage to the passenger side. AW. Moring St. woman reported two unknown males and one unknown woman came to her apartment complex and threatened to beat her and another man up. The woman offender pulled out a shotgun and threatened to blow their heads off. A West St. woman reported someone kicked out the bottom of her screen door. A man staying at Western Inn reported getting into an argument with another man, who was identified, which led to the offender punching the man in the eye. A woman staying at Sunset Inn reported witnesses saw a man, who was identified, leaving her room. A silver necklace and charms were missing from her room.
