This accident happened on Saturday, July 28 at 12:22 p.m. on Kemp Road. According to the Georgia State Patrol report, Heather Hendrix was traveling north on Kemp Road when her Chevrolet Malibu traveled off the roadway and onto the east shoulder where she overcorrected which caused her to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle then traveled back across both lanes of Kemp Road and exited the roadway onto the west shoulder where it continued to travel until striking a tree. This damaged the right front end and the impact caused the vehicle to rotate on its passenger side which struck a second tree on the top of the vehicle. Hendrix's vehicle came to a rest on the west shoulder, facing south on the passenger side. The vehicle sustained extensive damage but no one was injured in the accident.
