New gym!

A ribbon cutting for the new Emanuel County Institute gym was held Friday, Aug. 3. Among those attending the ceremony (pictured) were, from left, Superintendent Butch Frye, Burl Page, Bill Rogers Jr., Twin City Mayor Jimmy Greenway, Loy D. Cowart, John Torpy, ECI Principal Boyd English, John Neighbors, Frank Ellis and Nick Kraus. Numerous local teachers and members of the community also attended.
