Sheppard, Cooper announce engagement
Miss Sheppard is the granddaughter of Ms. Mary Frances Singletary of Swainsboro and the late Mr. Calvin Singletary and Ms. Mildred Sheppard of Louisville and the late Mr. Claude Sheppard. Ashley is a 2002 honor graduate of Jefferson County High School and a 2006 graduate of Augusta State University, where she received a degree in nursing. She is employed by Glendale Nursing Home in Wadley as a registered nurse. Mr. Cooper is the grandson of Ms. Betty Calhoun of Wadley and the late Mr. Thomas Calhoun and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cooper of Wadley. Ben is a 1999 graduate of Thomas Jefferson Academy. He is employed by Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc., in Louisville as a construction inspector. The wedding is planned for September 22, 2007, 6 p.m., at Wadley Baptist Church in Wadley.
