Catherine Wolfe Smith, 74 TWIN CITY--Funeral for Catherine Wolfe Smith, 74, will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Peebles- Curry-Durden Mortuary with Rev. Wilmer Hall officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Norristown. She died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Heritage Healthcare Center in Swainsboro after an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born in Campbellsburg, Ind. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt Shady Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. D Smith of Twin City; a daughter, Joyce Jordan of Twin City; a son, William F. Smith of Ashburn; a sister, Maxine Freeman of Vacaville; and four grandchildren, Wesley Jordan and Zane Jordan of Twin City; and Reynolds Smith and Critt Smith of Ashburn. Pallbearers are Ray Goodman, Gordan Goodman, Phagin Watson, Bill Thompson, Jeff Hagan and Wayne Collins. Peebles-Curry-Durden has charge of arrangements.
