SECRD football, soccer registration

Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department will hold youth football registration Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 3 to 6 pm. Child must be present when registering for football.

Youth soccer registration will be held Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, and Monday, Aug. 13, through Friday, Aug. 17. Soccer registration hours are 9 am to 5 pm.

The Recreation Department is located at 632 McLeod Bridge Road, Swainsboro. Registration fee is $30 for football and $20 for soccer. Registration fee does not include insurance. Insurance is available for $6 extra. First time participants must provide birth certificate.

Ages for football are 7 - 12. Ages for soccer are 6 - 12. A soccer participant must turn 6 before Aug. 1 of current year and cannot turn 13 before Aug. 1 of current year. A football participant must turn 7 before Aug. 1 of current year and cannot turn 13 before Aug. 1 of current year.
