"We are thankful for the all the nice items that were donated from local businesses, for the banks al- lowing us to display the gift package on a rotation basis, for the Foundation Board members going above and beyond, and for the hundreds of individuals who purchased raffle tickets," said Beth Hudson, Foundation of Emanuel Medical Center coordinator. "It was truly a combined community effort in raising funds for the new mammography suite. We appreciate the community supporting us." Approximately $5,500 was raised through the raffle. The new mammography suite at Emanuel Medical Center is now open and is designed for patients' privacy and comfort. Thesuite is furnished in an attractive décor with added privacy, warmth and confidentiality. Foundation Board Members serving include Carol Canady, chairperson, Stephanie Flanders, vice chairperson, Rev. Eugene Davis, G.W. Johnson, Denny Key, Sonny Stephens, Al Lawson, Jr., Stephanie Fagler, and Terri Bray.
