Herman Ducker Sr., 63 TWIN CITY--Funeral for Herman Ducker Sr., 63, was held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with Rev. James Davis officiating. He died Friday, June 29, 2007 at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Ducker was born on Signal Mountain, Tenn., and was a former union carpenter. He was a Pentecostal. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Violet Ducker; and a son, Eugene Ducker Jr. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Haynes Ducker of Twin City; a stepdaughter, Renea Murphy of Twin City; four sons, Robert Ducker of Washington; Christopher Ducker, Michael Gene Ducker and Brandon Ducker, all of Twin City; a stepson, Johnny Rowe of Twin City; a brother, Charles Ducker of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; and 14 grandchildren. Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
