Frances Bohannon Piper, 90 COVINGTON--Funeral for Frances Bohannon Piper, 90, was held Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan in Covington with Rev. Argin Floyd officiating. Burial was in Covington City Cemetery. She died Monday, June 25, 2007 at Johnson County Nursing Home in Adrian. Mrs. Bohannon was born to the late Roy and Lillian Parrish Darby. She was retired from Bibb Manufacturing and a member of Stewart Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was preceded in death by husbands, J.W. Bohannon and Ervin Piper; and daughter, Velta Frances Bohannon. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James M. and Mildred Bohannon of Swainsboro; and grandchildren, Nona and Kevin Farmer. Donations may be made to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0080. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
