Sheriff's Report Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported the following cases: June 23 Deputy reported a one-vehicle accident on Herndon Rd., Midville. Victim was transported to Emanuel Medical Center. A Panther Rd., Swainsboro woman reported a man, who was identified, hit her with a stick and punched her nose. A Red Bud Ave. man reported a woman, who was identified, hit him with a hoe. June 24 A Liberty St., Swainsboro woman reported her car broke down on Hwy. 57 E. and someone vandalized the vehicle. A W. 4th Ave., Stillmore woman reported her boyfriend took her car and wrecked it. Joseph Allen Addison III, 21, 563 Jones Ave., Swainsboro was arrested for public drunk. June 25 A Vidalia man reported he paid $5,000 for property in Oak Park but the seller, who was identified, has yet to close the deal. Victim said suspect has been hostile and nasty. A Roy Woods Rd., Kite woman reported a man, who was identified, is threatening to kill her. A Hwy 80 E. man reported that a woman, who was identified, stole his checkbook and forged 2 checks for $100. June 26 Employee at Flat Creek Lodge reported that wild hogs belonging to a man, who was identified, have been coming onto his property and causing damage. A Leman Rd. couple reported that two unknown males stole a .410 shotgun from their property. June 27 Donald Hopkins, 35, 440 Lambs Bridge Rd., was arrested for probation violation. A Bird Flanders Rd. woman reported that a woman, who was identified, keeps making harassing phone calls and threatening her.
