Frank O. Edenfield, 77 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Frank O. Edenfield, 77, was held Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Peebles-Curry- Durden Mortuary with Rev. Wilmer Hall and Rev. Wayne Page officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. He died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. Edenfield was a native of Emanuel County, a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Shady Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard, Sr. and Nellie Blount Edenfield; his wife, Madge Roberson Edenfield; sister, Louise Taylor; brother, Richard Edenfield, Jr.; and great-grandson, Thomas Coleman. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Glenn Grimes, Sr. of Swainsboro; a sister, Ruby Canady of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Tammy and Mike Cross of Swainsboro; and Glenn and Wendy Grimes, Jr. of Metter; great-grandchildren: Lexie Cross and Taylor Cross of Swainsboro; and Jacob and Aaralyn Grimes of Metter; and uncle, Elmer Blount of Wrightsville. Pallbearers were Bill Carmichael, Andy Tapley, David Kent, Donald Hooks, Billy Edenfield and Robert Edenfield. Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
