Martha Ann Blount, 79 NUNEZ--Funeral for Martha Ann Blount, 79, was held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Nunez Baptist Church with Rev. Donny Crosby officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. She died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah. Mrs. Blount was born in Waycross and had lived in Emanuel and Camden counties for many years. Survivors include five children, Mikey Mitchell Blount III of Prague, Czech Republic, Gary Anthony Blount of St. Marys, David Reeves Blount of Twin City, Penny Lee Cope of St. Marys, June Ellen Cave of Guyton; 18 grandchildren, Brent Blount of St. Marys, Jonathan Blount of St. Marys, Mikey Mitchell Blount IV of Prague Czech Republic, Colin Bohumil Blount of Prague Czech Republic, Nigel Austin Blount of Prague Czech Republic, Annabelle Amelia Blount of Prague Czech Republic, Gary Anthony Blount of St. Marys, Marshall Alan Blount of St. Marys, Ryleigh Alexis Blount of St. Marys, Allison Blount Martin of Twin City, David Rhett Blount of Twin City, Brandon Lee Blount of Twin City, Christopher Lee Portwood of St. Marys, Stephen Gordon Portwood of St. Marys, Bradley Cave of Guyton, Adam Cave of Guyton, Mathew Cave of Guyton, Alyssa Cave of Guyton; seven greatgrandchildren, Grayson Carter Blount of St. Marys, Griffin Christian Blount of St. Marys, William David Martin of Twin City, Mayghen Portwood of St. Marys, Abiil Portwood of St. Marys, Brant Portwood of St. Marys, Keagen Baylee Portwood of St. Marys; brother and sisters, Jo Adeline (Sasser) Dotson of Clayton, Walter Jones Sasser Jr. of St. Marys; June Ellen (Sasser) Parker of Charlotte, N.C.; 12 nieces and nephews. Tomlinson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
