TCE Career Day
On Friday, May 11, students at Twin City Elementary enjoyed visitors for Career Day. The guests set up informational booths, complete with posters, handouts, and items for the students such as pencils and coloring books. The students went to each station and learned about different careers and got to ask questions about the jobs of the guests. We were excited to have many wonderful guests representing a variety of jobs. Guests for the morning included Chief Johnny Lane and Ms. Regina Jones from Twin City Police Department, Ms. Debra Wilson from Durden Banking, Ms. Kathy Smith and Dr. Davis from Twin City Family Health Care, Mr. Russell Hinson from George L. Smith State Park, Mr. Carson Cross from Carson Cross Farms, Mr. Thomas Beal from DWG Consulting, Ms. Charla Cobb from Dr. Smith's office, Ms. Tabatha Downer, dance instructor, Ms. LeeAnn Williams from Emanuel County Health Department, Ms. Pat Young, patient advocate, Ms. Geraldine Pierce from Twin View Healthcare, Ms. Lacey Lanier from Swainsboro Tech Childcare Services, Ms. Marlo Smith, cosmetologist, Mr. Jamie Oglesby from UPS, and Sergeant Hill from the U.S. Army. The students enjoyed the morning listening to and learning from the speakers.
