Wreck on South Main

This accident happened on Tuesday, May 15 a little after 3 p.m. According to a report by Swainsboro Police Department, a Ford Focus driven by Joann Smith of Swainsboro was in the turn lane on South Main Street in Swainsboro when she began turning left towards Harmon Road. Smith failed to yield to a Nissan Sentra driven by Evin Marshall Hughes of Swainsboro, who was driving south on South Main Street. Smith struck the front of Marshall's vehicle, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
