Free health screen offered A free health screening will be held at the Adrian Community Center, Nora Blvd. on Tuesday, May 22. The event will be held from 4- 7 p.m. and is sponsored by Emanuel Medical Center, Access Emanuel, Inc., and Mill Creek Foundation. Screens offered to the public include an evaluation of blood pressure, height, weight and body mass index, glucose and health assessment. An HbA1c blood test is available for individuals meeting set criteria. EMC staff and nursing students from Swainsboro Technical College will assist with the event. Appointments are required and may be made by calling Beth Hudson, 478-289-1356.
