Ms. Thompson honored at miscellaneous bridal shower Ms. Cindy Thompson, bride-elect of Greg Riner, was feted with a miscellaneous shower at the lovely Spivey Clubhouse on Saturday, April 7. Hostesses for the occasion were Ms. Lisa Bertoch, Mrs. Betty Brown, Mrs. Chasity Gray, Mrs. Priscilla Hooks, Mrs. April Lumley, Mrs. Erin May, Ms. Tonya Pepin, Mrs. Alice Riner, Mrs. Debbie Riner, Mrs. Diana Thompson, Mrs. Sandie Thompson, Mrs. Angie Webb and Ms. Becky Williams. Ms. Thompson chose a yellow pantsuit for her attire. She was presented with a beautiful corsage of white daisies accented with white ribbon. An arrangement of assorted colored daisies adorned the refreshment table. Guests were served angel food cake topped with whipped cream and strawberries, nuts and punch. Special guests attending the morning brunch were the mother of the bride, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson and the mother of the groom, Mrs. Shirley Riner. Ms. Thompson expressed her appreciation to the hostesses and guests for the many nice gifts she received.
