Tigers win Region!

      As the Tigers began last week, they knew what stood before them. The Tigers played a series of three games last week. Out of the three games, two of the games would decide if the Tigers could clinch the region title. Tuesday, April 24 was the Tigers' first obstacle, a game against Screven County.

      Beth Lane of Swainsboro participated in the 30th Annual Vidalia 5K and 10K Onion Run on April 28 in Vidalia. She won 3rd place female overall in the 5K and won 4th place in her age group in the 10K Run.

Turner signs with Georgia Perimeter

'Kids Day' Fishing event
      The Emanuel County Sportsman's Club will be hosting the annual Allen Lamb "Kids Day" Fishing Derby this year on Tuesday, May 8th at Jerry Cadle's Clubhouse & Pond in Swainsboro. The event will begin at 4 p.m., with a meal and prize giveaway at 7 p.m. to those participating.

      The Swainsboro High School Cheerleaders will host a Mini-Camp 2007 for ages 3-12 Tuesday, May 29 - Friday June 1, 8:30- 11:30 a.m. at Swainsboro Elementary School Gym. Cost is $45 per child includes a T-shirt and shorts. A snack will be provided each day.
