Exemplary teacher

Glenn Turner, center, history teacher at Emanuel County Institute, was recently presented an award by the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce to recognize his outstanding contributions as a teacher. Turner has been selected STAR teacher for seven years. Presenting him with the award were Bill Rogers Jr., left, and Ken Warnock. Turner has taught history at ECI for 29 years.
