Andy Sutton appointed acting DEA headmaster The Board of David Emanuel Academy has appointed Andy Sutton as acting headmaster for the remainder of the school year. Mr. Sutton previously served as DEA assistant headmaster and school counselor. DEA Headmaster Brian Daughtry is still under investigation for "personal conduct" and is on administrative leave with pay. Daughtry was named headmaster of DEA in 2004. Prior to coming to DEA, he taught and served as an administrator in Jenkins and Candler counties and was named Teacher of the Year while serving in both public school systems.
