Walking for a cure

Bill Hammock, his wife Lisa and their granddaughter Molly were among the numerous people who participated in the annual Emanuel County Relay for Life at Swainsboro High School Tiger Field April 20-21. The overnight event is held every year to honor the survivors of cancer and remember the ones who are no longer with us. Z Brinson, right, got into the spirit of things by dressing as Elvis Presley. This year's Relay theme was "Cancer has left the building."
