Peebles celebrates 5th birthday
A "Curious George" theme was carried throughout the house. Two balloon bouquets towered above the entrance of the home. Centered between them was a huge 4ft. Curious George balloon. Lime green and lemon yellow streamers were also hung throughout the house. The honoree and her guests enjoyed playing in a "Scooby-Doo" inflatable bouncing house and sliding down a giant inflatable slide. They also enjoyed pulling the strings on a Curious George piñata and gathering the candy. Sam's birthday cake was decorated with a Curious George swinging in the jungle, topped with "S" party hat candles. Special guests joining Sam and her parents, Donny Peebles and Jinny Woods, were her brother, Edmond Marsh and wife, Brooke Marsh; sisters, Heather Marsh and E.B. Marsh; niece, Blaze Morris; Jennifer Sapp and Jared Sapp; Cierra and Benji Woods; Patsy Lee; Brandy Lee; Grace Proctor; Diesel Carter; Dustin Carter; Tracy Woods and Lake Woods; Kristy Moore and Madison Moore; Terry Burke and Bailey Burke; Gary, Kim and Chase Moore; Kristi, Race and Mac Irvin and Ben, Shana, Jacey and Racyn Faircloth. Later that night, Frank Woods, one of Sam's favorite uncles dropped by. Sam received many nice gifts. Guests were given goody bags as they departed. On Saturday, March 10, Sam was treated by her sister, Georgia Peebles and friend, Ginger Claxton to lunch at her favorite restaurant, McDonalds. They also took her shopping for her birthday. On Sam's birthday her parents treated her with a steak supper at Ryan's, where employees surprised her with a birthday sundae and they sang "Ryan's" rendition of the "birthday song." Sam also celebrated her birthday with her classmates and teacher, Miss Debby Hudson at the First United Presbyterian Church. Sam and her classmates enjoyed cupcakes. Classmates included Sydney Dorsey, Madison Moore, Jared Sapp and Nix Hooks.
