Litterbugs fined in Magistrate Court Emanuel County Magistrate Judge Ronald Wiggins would like local residents to know that the court is taking a hard stance on littering. Last week, three people were cited and fined. Stephen R. Gross and Mark Edward Webber, both of Swainsboro, were fined $135 each and ordered to clean up the property where trash had been dumped. Magistrate Court Clifford Earl William Jr. of Baxley was fined $400 for uncovered waste container in the back of a tractor trailer. Trash had blown out of Williams' truck onto the roadway. Any local citizen who sees violations may report this to Emory Greenway, code enforcement marshal, at 237-1222.
