Emanuel County Special Olympics!

Opening ceremonies for Emanuel County Special Olympics and competitions were held Friday, March 30 at Tiger Field at Swainsboro High school. Superintendent Butch Frye gave the welcome and Rev. Cail Pressey gave the invocation. The National Anthem was sung by Donald Jenkins. Presentation of Colors was by the Emanuel County Institute JROTC. Bruce Bonds recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Henry Kitchens conducted the lighting of the Special Olympic flame. MC for the event was Jeb Cameron. (Photos by Jacquie Brasher)
