Henry wins 70lb division at State

Jarett Henry won the 70lb bantam division at the Georgia USA Wrestling State Championship in Atlanta on March 4 held at Parkview High School. He is a member of the Raider Storm Wrestling Club under the coaching of Gerald Carr. He finished his season with a 97-0 record in Georgia. He also traveled to Colorado this past September to compete a Big Horn Nationals Wrestling Tournament and won the 70lb bantam division title. He now holds 2 state titles and 2 national titles. He plans to attend Reno World Nationals, April 6-8 in Reno Nevada and Tournament of Champions, April 20-21 in Columbus, Ohio. He is 9 years old and attends Northwest Laurens Elementary. He is the son of Destry and Kim Henry of Dublin. He is the grandson of Sue Henry, Roy Lively and Janice Tompkins all of Swainsboro.
