Kersey celebrates 4th birthday with party

KERSEY
Sarah Elizabeth "Sarah Beth" Kersey, daughter of Marvin & Jodi Kersey of Swainsboro was honored at a birthday party on Dec. 30 at her home in Swainsboro. Sarah Beth turned 4 on Dec. 30. The "Barbie" Party was complete with pink and white balloons, "Barbie" plates, napkins, cups and streamers. While the weather was bleak, children were able to play in the playroom as quests mingled and enjoyed a slideshow of photos from the first four years of Sarah Beth's life.

As her friends gathered around, Sarah Beth was able to blow out the candles on her Barbie Doll birthday cake as her guests sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Everyone enjoyed ice cream with their cake as well as chips, dip, cheetos, brownies and lots of other goodies. Sarah Beth received many nice gifts and enjoyed opening them with help from her friends. One special gift was a Barbie doll-house shelf, made special for Sarah Beth by her daddy.

Celebrating with Sarah Beth and her parents were her brother, Wallee; grandparents, Don & Martha Farrow of Summertown; uncle and aunt, Lenny & Lynn Pasquale and greatgrandmother, Sybol Toole of Metter. Her cousin, Dale Rogers and great aunt, Audrey Flanders of Swainsboro were also in attendance.
