Jacquelyn Newsome, 47 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Jacquelyn Newsome, 47, was held Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Page officiating. Burial was in Lambs Cemetery. She died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at MCG Hospital after a short illness. A native of Emanuel County, Mrs. Newsome lived all her life in the Swainsboro area. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Ricks of Sardis; two sisters, Gwen Sharpe of Swainsboro; and Beverely Davis of Darien; two brothers, Lester R. Jackson of Hawaii; and Lionell R. Jackson of Unidilla; her mother, Bessie J. Branson of Albany; and two grandchildren. Fairhaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services had charge of arrangements.
