Miss Wilson, Mr. Patrick announce engagement

MISS WILSON, MR. PATRICK
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hopkins of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Wilson of Tignall announce the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa Wilson to Clayton "Clay" Roan Patrick of Guyton. The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edd Patrick of Swainsboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Echols of Tignall and the late Joyce Earline Jones Cribb and the late Grady Johnson and Emma Martin Wilson. Miss Wilson is a 1998 graduate of Washington Wilkes High School, Piedmont College and a 2003 graduate of Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy. She is employed by Candler/St. Joseph in Savannah as an occupational therapist.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Earl and Annie Lee Johnson Sconyers and the late Mr. Ernest and Nannie Norris Patrick. Mr. Patrick is a 1992 graduate of David Emanuel Academy, attended East Georgia College and is a 2002 graduate of ABAC with a Bachelor of Science degree in commercial turf and golf turf management. He is employed by Elliott's Landscape, Inc. in Rincon as the landscape construction manager.

The wedding is planned for June 30, 2007 at Canoochee Baptist Church in Canoochee at 6 p.m. A reception will follow at the Swainsboro Country Club.
