Daisy Pearl Wright, 80 NUNEZ--Funeral for Daisy Pearl Wright, 80, was held Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Greater St. James Baptist Church with Rev. Samuel Hunt officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at home after an extended illness. Mrs. Wright was a native of Treutlen County where she attended public schools. She lived in Emanuel County most of her life where she was a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church. She was employed by Emanuel County Schools as a dietary employee for many years. Survivors include five daughters, Tina Jenkins of Montgomery, Ala.; Debbie Harper of Douglasville; Tereasa Wright and Tara Wright of Nunez; and Deborah Jones of Canoochee; seven sons, Kenneth Wright, James Wright, Jay Wright of Swainsboro; Charlie Wright of Lexsy; Ervin Wright of Andrews Air Force Base, Md.; J.P. Wright of Burnett, Texas; and Will Wright of Eureka, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Reno Tapley Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
