DEAR EDITOR:

I am one who does not write to you paper, although I try to read your paper every week. The reason I am writing is not to criticize any law enforcement, because they are doing a good job with the limited resources they have.

As I sit on my front porch in Durdenville on Hwy. 192 South and Lambs Bridge Road crossroads, I see car after car run the stop sign. I don't know why. They are well-marked with lights and speed breakers. I have brought this problem to other people before with no results. I hope another person does not have to die here before something is done.

I believe a four-way stop sign would help this problem. It wouldn't stop everybody, but maybe it would stop a few. I would just like to sit on my front porch and not worry about seeing another accident. I hope this letter is read by the right person who may be able to help. GARY DURDEN Durdenville
