Tax commissioner announces new Website

Sandra Wright, tax commissioner of Emanuel County, has announced that her office has launched a new Website to help taxpayers of Emanuel County and those who do business in the county. Tax information is available at www.emanuelcountytax.c om

"It has always been my goal to offer our Emanuel County property owners and those who provide mortgage related services to them the tools to make my office easier to do business with," said Wright. "Our Website integration into PayPal's secure Internet payment system will allow anyone regardless of where they live the capability to look up public information on Emanuel County property, and then pay the taxes online if they wish, using their credit card or other methods that PayPal offers."

The office will continue to upgrade its technology and services. "I want anyone who was a computer with Internet service to have a satellite office of the Emanuel County tax Commissioner in their home," said Wright.
