DEAR EDITOR: Shari Watt, her mother and staff, do an excellent job at our local animal shelter. It is certainly a labor of love. Last week's letter to the editor convinced me of Ms. Watt's love and compassion for God's fourlegged creatures. The 10 puppies that were thrown away and later found at a dumpster site were blessed. They don't have to be out in the freezing weather anymore, thanks to Ms. Watt. We need more angels of mercy like Ms. Watt and her mother. They have been watching out for homeless dogs and cats for years. May God richly bless them. RONNIE JOHNSON Swainsboro
