Sheriff's Report Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported the following cases: Jan. 16 Lawrence Hugh McCullough Jr., 26, 1985 Hwy. 292 was arrested for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Jan. 20 A Kea's Church Dr., Adrian man reported two men, whom he identified, took his cell phone. Jan. 21 A Blun Rd. woman reported two unidentified men tried to steal her 4- wheeler. Jan. 22 Employee of Twin City Quality Buildings reported someone broke into the building and stole change from the vending machines and several other electronic items. An Eagle Pass woman reported her sister took a family photograph without permission. Jan. 23 A woman driving on U.S. 1 S. reported striking an orange cone in the road, which caused damage to her vehicle. An Adrian woman reported a man, who was identified, became enraged over the lack of detergent in the house, grabbed her face and arm and made threats towards her and her family. A New Turner Dr. man reported someone stole his CD and DVD player from his vehicle. Victim said he found the items at Tom's Pawn Shop. A Halls Bridge Rd. woman reported a man, who was identified, stole her checks and cashed them. Employee at Country Corner reported someone pumped $20 in gas and did not pay. Jan. 24 A man driving on Hwy. 80 E. reported hitting an owl. A man driving on Hwy. 297 and Hwy. 46 reported hitting a deer. A Hwy. 221 S. man reported a woman, who was identified, broke into his house twice and stole a VCR. Jan. 25 A man on Hwy. 192 S., Stillmore reported someone stole his phone off his porch. A Pecan Dr., Lyons man reported his cell phone is missing. A man driving on Hwy. 297 reported hitting an deer. A Lambs Bridge Rd., Twin City woman reported someone has tampered with her mail. A Hwy. 80 E., Twin City man and woman reported a man, who was identified, threatens them over the phone. Jan. 26 A Norris At., Adrian woman reported her estranged husband removed her clothing from her closet, turned her living room and bedroom upside down and cut the tires on her car. A Paula Lane, Swainsboro man reported a female member of the family under probation with Juvenile Justice violated her probation. A Hwy. 80 E., Twin City man and woman reported a man, who was identified, threatens them over the phone. An Omaha Springs Rd., Avera woman reported she bought a car from a man in Kite, who was identified, but the vehicle is in disrepair. Victim said defendant refuses to take her calls. A Hwy. 1 S., woman reported a man, who was identified, drove into her fence and left the scene. Employee at Washington EMC reported a Wilson Rd., Kite man had tampered with the electric meter. A Mt. Shady Rd., Swainsboro woman reported someone stole equipment from her property. Jan. 28 A man driving on Logue Rd., Twin City reported he lost control of his truck and ran into a creek. A Hwy. 1 N. man reported someone stole his John Deere Gator and scooter.
