Tiger boys finish the week perfect

This past Friday night the Tigers traveled to Jefferson County. Both the girls and boys beat Jefferson County. The girls won 56 to 43 and the boys won 79 to 50. Tekiya Sherrod scored 17 points and Paige Johnson scored 11 to help the lady Tigers with the win. Tony Mitchell scored 26 points for the Tiger s and Derrick Smith scored 16 points.

The Tigers hosted Laney on Saturday. The lady Tigers fell short of a win against Laney with a score of Laney, 74 and the Tigers, 40. Jasmine Lloyd was the high shooter with 10 points. The boys beat Laney 85 to 55. Jamail Turner scored 15, Derrick Smith scored 14, and Cecil Vent scored 14.

The overall lady Tigers record is 12-3 and 5-2 in region. The Tiger boys have an overall record of 13-2 and 6-1 in region.
