Chamber's 'A Taste of Italy' planned for February 1 This year's annual Swainsboro/ Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce banquet will have a special theme. "A Taste of Italy" has been chosen for the banquet theme to be held on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Swainsboro Country Club. Special decoration, menu and entertainment will highlight the event along with the announcement of the Person of the Year, and the Large and small business of the year. "This year's banquet will definitely be different than the other banquets in the past. It should be a lot of fun," stated Bill Rogers, Jr., executive director. Tickets are $25 per person for chamber members, $30 for non-chamber members. Tickets are available at the chamber office. Seating is limited. For information call 237-6426.
