Debie Fennell, 53 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Debie Fennell, 53, was held Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Swainsboro Primitive Church with Elder Lee Chambers officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Fennell was a native of Emanuel County. She was a retired LPN at Emanuel Medical Center. She was a member of Swainsboro Primitive Baptist Church. She was also a master cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her father, Herschel Fennell. Survivors include her mother, Thelma Fennell of Swainsboro; two daughters, Melani Dixon of Vidalia; and Casey Woods of Swainsboro; one brother, Glenn Fennell of Swainsboro; one grandson, Blane Wheeler of Vidalia; and one nephew, Chris Fennell of Swainsboro. Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
