Officer dead after self-inflicted shooting

Emanuel County Jail Officer Jamie Oglesby, 68, of Twin City, died Thursday, Jan. 11 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Coroner Walter Jeffrey Peebles. Oglesby was off-duty at the time of the shooting. He was found in his truck near a restaurant in Twin City. More...
